Towards the end of this month, Brisbane will play host (for the first time in fact) to a festival of sorts, celebrating food, wine, coffee, the outdoors and lifestyle in general.
Enrich Brisbane is an innovative, interactive showcase that steps outside the boundaries of your typical ‘food and wine’ expo by incorporating a whole lifestyle approach that will gives visitors a variety of interesting exhibitors, speakers and a wide array of interactive demonstrations. The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre will be home to the Enrich Brisbane event, being held over 3 days, from Friday 30 March to Sunday 2nd April, and here at BNE: HOT or NOT, we’ve got a couple of double passes burning holes in our pockets, ready to be drawn for a couple of lucky readers.
But first, a bit more on the Enrich Brisbane program to wet your appetite a little….
Queensland chefs Alastair McLeod (Brett’s Wharf) and Ben O’Donoghue (South Bank Surf Club) will be joined by industry figures and personalities like Ian Parmenter (Consuming Passions) and Lyndey Milan (Australian Women’s Weekly) to bring to life the many exciting experiences to be had at Enrich Brisbane. The 3 day program, held in your usual expo-type show rooms and stages, boasts a colourful program spanning many different cuisines, influences and settings……what to do, how to do it, who to do it with and where to do it……you get the picture.
Tickets to the event will set you back about $30 per day and the admission fee entitles you to a tasting glass with lanyard and holder, free wine tasting and sampling of other little goodies. However, for 2 of our readers entry will be free!
